Verse 107Awareness
Expanding into Other Bodies
Bhairava
This verse asks you to stop feeling that awareness belongs only to your own body. Try to sense the same life in others as in yourself. When that happens, your sense of being separate gets much wider.
स्विदन्यशरीरेऽपि सवित्त्वं अनुभावयेत् । अपेक्षां स्वशरीरस्य त्यक्त्वा व्यापी भवेत् ॥ १०७ ॥
svasmin dehāntare 'pi ca sattvaṃ anubhāvayet | apekṣāṃ svaśarīrasya tyaktvā vyāpī bhavet || 107 ||
Translation
One should experience the same reality even in another's body; abandoning attachment to one's own body, one becomes all-pervading.
Loosen identification with your own body and feel consciousness as equally present in others, expanding into universality.
