This verse says that even subtle meditation experiences and energy diagrams are not the whole truth. Sounds, lights, and chakra patterns can be helpful, but they are still only pointers. Don’t confuse the map with the destination.
नादबिन्दुमयो वापि न चन्द्रार्धनिरोधिका् । न चक्रक्रमसम्भिन्नो न च शक्तिस्वरूपकः ॥ १२ ॥
nādabindumayo vāpi na candrārdhanirodhikā | na cakrakramasambhinno na ca śaktisvarūpakaḥ || 12 ||
Translation
Nor is he made of nada and bindu; nor is he the crescent moon's restraint; nor is he divided by the sequence of chakras; nor is he merely the form of power.
Reject subtle yogic maps and symbols as final definitions of Bhairava, even when they are spiritually refined.
