Verse 14Nonduality
Beyond Time and Place
Bhairava
This verse says the deepest reality is not located somewhere, and it does not fit into ordinary language or clocks. You cannot point to it like a place on a map. The practice is to sense what remains when those mental labels fall away.
वदक्कालकलनोन्मुिा देशोद्देशाविशेवषणी । व्यपदेष्टुमशक्यासािकथ्या परमाथधत् ॥ १४ ॥
vāk-kāla-kalanonmuktā deśoddeśaviśeṣiṇī | vyapadeṣṭum aśakyā sā kathyā paramārthataḥ || 14 ||
Translation
She is free from the constructions of speech and time, and distinct from all places and directions; in truth, she cannot be spoken of or designated.
Point to ultimate reality as beyond speech, time, and spatial localization, making clear that it cannot be fully named.
