Verse 95Nonduality
Seeing Through Māyā's Divisions
Bhairava
This verse says that the feeling of being cut off into separate pieces is part of illusion. If you can see the mind making those divisions, they lose some of their power. Then you remain more whole and less fragmented.
माया विमोवहनी नाम कलाया् कलनं वस्थतम् । इत्यावदधमं तत्त्वानां कलयन्न पृथग्भवेत् ॥ ९५ ॥
māyā vimohinī nāma kalāyāḥ kalanaṃ sthitam | ityādyaṃ tattvānāṃ kalayan na pṛthag bhavet || 95 ||
Translation
Māyā, the deluder, is said to consist in the delimitation of kala; thus, while discerning the principles beginning with kala, one does not become separate.
Recognize that apparent divisions are māyā's construction and do not take them as truly separate.
